An air conditioning system called an inverter AC, commonly referred to as a variable speed or variable frequency drive (VFD) AC, uses cutting-edge technology to regulate the speed and power consumption of the compressor motor. The compressor in conventional air conditioners runs at a fixed speed, turning on and off at predetermined intervals to maintain the desired temperature. In contrast, an inverter air conditioner uses a variable speed compressor that changes its speed in response to the room’s cooling load requirements. Greater energy efficiency is achieved as a result of the AC unit’s ability to continuously manage the compressor’s speed and power usage.
